PromoFarma
PromoFarma is an online health and wellness marketplace that offers a wide range of products, including pharmaceuticals, personal care items, and health supplements. Based in Spain, it partners with pharmacies and health stores across Europe to provide customers with quality products and convenient delivery options.
I’ve been working at PromoFarma since February 2022. During this time, I’ve done it all, from creating innovative design pieces for different communication channels to leading the design team (an exciting experience!) for nearly a year, supporting the growth of four talented designers with guidance and constructive feedback. This, and much more, I’ll tell you all about below.
Team Leadership
For almost a year, I led a design team. It was a time filled with exciting projects and challenges, which we tackled with creativity and teamwork. Problems? None—just stylish solutions. Here are some of the projects I led during that time.
Campaign Redesign
During the time leading the design team, I had to work some magic to redefine the visual approach of our campaigns. We waved goodbye to childish vectors and illustrations that felt more like a fairy tale than marketing. Instead, we focused on using images that reflected our audience’s real experiences. The result? A more authentic and relatable design.
Here, I present the same campaign from two different years: the first in 2022 and the second in 2023. It’s clear to see the significant improvements in design and communication, which we have continuously applied and refined up to today. These changes showcase a more strategic approach, better aligned with our target audience, resulting in a more effective visual and communicative impact.
I present more examples of campaigns carried out during my leadership period, highlighting the progress and improvements achieved in each one.
Health Points Launch
In 2022 PromoFarma launch a loyalty program designed to reward the clients with Health points for every purchase they make through the website.
The creative process began by designing the logo and then the ecosystem of the loyalty program according to the needs of the moment.
A year later, we worked on the global rebranding. Additionally, DocMorris Germany launched its loyalty program, which required us to create a new logo and communication.
Picking Points
Picking Points is the pick-up point delivery service for orders purchased through the PromoFarma app or website in Spain, and DocMorris in France.
In this project, I designed the logo for Picking Points and the graphic elements for the landing page, which is currently a work in progress.
Project Management
DocMorris Private Label
In 2023, PromoFarma expanded its offerings by launching its first line of private label products, focusing on dietary supplements, sunscreen, among others. With this strategy, DocMorris aims to strengthen its position in the European health and wellness market by providing high-quality products directly to consumers.
And what’s been my role in all of this? I’m the project manager behind the launch of these products, which means I’m juggling several hats at once (thankfully, none of them literally!). My responsibilities include:
╴Keeping a close eye on the production status of each product, ensuring every stage progresses as it should.
╴Build solid relationships with the Project Owner to develop the project plan.
╴Creating and maintaining the roadmap, managing the backlog, and making sure nothing falls behind in a Agile environment.
╴Communicating project progress to stakeholders so everyone stays up-to-date and aligned.
╴And, of course, making sure the different teams within marketing work hand in hand without a hitch.
Packaging Design
As a designer, I was responsible for creating the design of the dietary supplement line packaging, adapting it for bottles, boxes, and containers.
The project brief was clear: to represent quality products at an affordable price, standing out from the competition and reflecting the company’s corporate identity, conveying trust and security despite the low cost.
Communication
I also was in charge of the 360 communication strategy design across various channels, including social media, CRM, catalogs, ads, and more.
Art direction
This year, we have worked on the launch of a new sunscreen line, which includes facial sunscreen with SPF 50 (with and without tint), body sunscreen with SPF 30 and 50, and after-sun lotion with aloe vera. In addition to my responsibilities as Project Manager, I played an active role in the creative process, collaborating in the design of the packaging and communication.
CRM Design
During this period, among all the tasks I’ve tackled, I’ve dived into the world of CRM design: creating newsletters, content blocks, banners, and more. A true buffet of digital creativity! Now, let me show you some of my most remarkable work in this area.
